Although Sister Thomasita Homan also held the positions of Campus Ministry Director and Alumni Director, her real passion was teaching.  She began teaching at Benedictine in the fall of 1979.  The courses that she mainly taught were English Composition, Introduction to Literature, World Literature II: Enlightenment to the Present, American Literature to the Civil War, American Literature after the Civil War, Novels, Creative Writing, Loomings Practicum, and Linguistics.
