Philosophy - Honors

Students in Benedictine College’s Honors Program take a special “track” to begin fulfilling Benedictine’s requirements in the area of philosophical inquiry: they take PHIL-2010, Logic, and then PHIL-2310, Philosophy of Nature. Taking both of these courses provides a more solid and complete foundation in philosophical reasoning than taking only PHIL-1750, Principles of Nature – it is the same track we recommend for our majors. After this, honors students are free to choose from among the other offerings in philosophy, either to fulfill their general education requirements or to enrich their studies.
