Whether you are a returning student moving back in or completely new to campus, welcome to Benedictine College! You can see move-in dates and orientation information below.

Fall 2026 Move-in Dates and Times

Move-in Day #2

Saturday, August 15, 2026

  • All student-athletes in Cheer, Cross Country, Dance and Marching Band (freshman and transfer students included)
  • New students in the Sheridan Honors Institute and Air Force ROTC Cadets

8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Residential Move-in

Prior to unloading your belongings, check in at the lobby of your residence hall. After unloading, move vehicles to the Murphy Recreation Center or Amino Center lots.

10:00 a.m. to Noon

Check-in with Athletic Training Staff

  • Men’s and Women’s Cross Country: Mother Teresa Center, Room 102
  • Cheer and Dance: Mother Teresa Center, Room 102
  • Marching Band: Mother Teresa Center, Room 101

11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Raven Family BBQ

In the Dining Hall

Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Moritz Library Open

  • Take a self-guided tour of the new library!
  • Assembly Room & Exhibits open Noon to 1:30 p.m.

1:00-3:00 p.m.

Sheridan Honors Institute Scholars Check-in

Family Send-Off Mass

In the Abbey Church. This is a Vigil Mass for Sunday.

Doors open at 3:00 p.m. Please arrive early and with your entire party. Due to the expected number of guests, you may not save seats.

Move-in Day #3 | New Student Day

Saturday, August 22, 2026

  • All freshman and transfer students who have not arrived on a prior day

8:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Residential Move-in

Prior to unloading your belongings, check in at the lobby of your residence hall. After unloading, move vehicles to the Murphy Recreation Center or Amino Center lots.

  • Group A-I: 8:00-9:30 a.m.
  • Group J-R: 9:30-11:00 a.m.
  • Group S-Z: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

In an effort to provide you with the most positive move-in experience, we ask that you plan your arrival to campus based on the alphabetical groups of last names listed below. However, we understand that your arrival to campus may not fit into the assigned times. That’s okay! If you are unable to arrive in your assigned time, you do NOT need to secure an exception or notify anyone on campus. We simply request that you do your best to arrive in the assigned window of time if your schedule permits.

It is also important for you to know that there is one main entrance to the campus which causes a line of vehicles on Second Street. We suggest that you arrive in line no earlier than thirty minutes prior to your designated move-in group.

All other students can move in beginning Sunday, August 23, 2026.

  • Arrival and Check-in: Noon to 3:00 p.m.
  • Students who cannot arrive during the time above can check in with the RA On-Call at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Moritz Library will be open from Noon to 4:00 p.m. on August 23.

Raven Orientation Camp

Saturday to Tuesday, August 22-25, 2026

After new students move in, orientation starts! Raven Orientation Camp (ROC Week) is a fun-filled week during which students get ready for their first semester at Benedictine College. Students meet their classmates, talk with their advisors, and experience many of the traditions that make Benedictine unique. Get ready to jump start your time at Benedictine with this unforgettable experience!

ROC is not your typical orientation! With an exciting theme and plenty of energized upperclassmen, you will truly be welcomed into the Benedictine family. Be prepared to learn all of Benedictine College’s traditions and how to thrive in college, with a full schedule of activities, games, and speakers. Get excited for your first week as a Raven, it’s a life changing experience!
