Natalie Gallatin ('16)

Since graduating in May, Natalie has been hired to develop a curriculum in Art Appreciation for the John Paul II Junior College in Benque Viejo del Carmen, Belize.  Natalie will also be working with an organization that uses art to promote peace in the border region between Belize and Guatemala.

Kate Marin ('12)

BCAD alumna, Kate Marin, was accepted into the two-year program in sculpture at the Sacred Art School in Florence, Italy.  Kate had already completed a summer workshop at the school before returning to BC to teach drawing for the past year.  Congratulations, Kate!

Outstanding BCAD Students of '15-'16

Each year we recognize one student in each class for their achievements in the studio and as a member of the department community.  These students are recognized at the Honors Banquet in April.  For the 2015-16 school year the awardees are:

Kathryn Lenertz ('17)

One of Kathryn's photographs was selected out of over 10,000 entries as a Finalist in the Best of College Photography 2016 contest by Photographer's Forum magazine.

Alex Vu ('15) 

Alex and his co-workers were invited to a 4-month residency at Techstars in recognition of the success they've had with iLos Strategies, a tech start-up in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  Alex is the company's Creative Lead and Brand Strategist.
