    Champagne Brunch
    Murphy Recreation Center

    Immediately following the brunch, graduates will take a class photo on in Raven Memorial Park.

    Nursing Pinning Ceremony
    Ralph Nolan Gymnasium

    Benedictine College Nursing Program graduates will receive their pins during a special ceremony on stage in the O'Malley-McAllister Auditorium.

    Graduate Photo

    In front of Haverty Center

    Graduates line up around the Benedictine “B” in the Haverty Circle for a final group photo. Dress in cap and gown.

  • 4:00 PM

    March of Light

    The graduates will process up along the north side of the Haverty Center, then across the Path of Mary to Mary's Grotto, where they will place a candle. They will then process down the Raven Walk to the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium for Baccalaurete Mass.

    Baccalaureate Mass
    Ralph Nolan Gymnasium

    Mass is being celebrated by the Most Rev. Joseph Naumann, DD, Archbishop of the Diocese of Kansas City in Kansas. This year it will be held in Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.

    Simulcast Locations: O’Malley-McAllister Auditorium and St. John Paul II Student Center atrium

    Alternate Rain Plan: In case of inclement weather, graduates will assemble in an indoor location to be determined.

  • 6:00 PM

    President’s Reception
    Murphy Recreation Center

    Immediately following Mass, graduates, along with their family, and faculty and staff are invited to be the guests of President Stephen D. Minnis and the Benedictine College Administration for the President’s Reception. This is an occasion to enjoy light refreshments and visit with family and friends as well as College personnel. Beer and wine will be available for sale.

  • 7:00 AM

    Graduate Line-up
    Amino Center Parking Lot

    Graduates will assemble in cap and gown at 7:00 a.m. in the Amino Center parking lot. Graduates must pick up their reader card from college staff located in the lot and then proceed to line up as directed. The procession begins at approximately 8:45 a.m. and will move O'Malley Field in Wilcox Stadium. Procession order for Commencement is alphabetically by major.

    Alternate Rain Plan: In case of inclement weather, the indoor location to assemble is the Old Gym inside the Haverty Center. (Graduates will be directed to their departmental place for proper assembly.) Faculty and staff will line up in the hallway outside the Dining Hall. Commencement would then take place inside the Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.

  • 9:00 AM

    Larry Wilcox Stadium

    The Commencement ceremony will be held outside in Larry Wilcox Stadium, with the graduates and faculty seated on the track and the field. Families will be able to sit in the stands or go to several simulcast locations (Amino Center Classrooms, O'Malley-McAllister Auditorium, Murphy Recreation Center).

    Note: Graduates will receive their diploma frames at the ceremony, but diplomas will be mailed to them separately.
