Mission Trip: Guatemala

The remote mountain village of Joya de Los Cedros in Guatemala is the site of one of our longest standing community relationships! This is the seventh year we’ve been able to partner with the people of Joya, and they have embraced us in a very special way. Two years ago, we were able to join in the celebration of inaugurating the new church that was built and funded over the past several missions. We are now dedicated to related projects such as a rectory, classrooms, etc. We can’t wait to see what the next project will be! We will live immersed in the Guatemalan culture by staying with the locals in their homes, as is the tradition of this mission. We will spend our days assisting in the continued construction projects and delivering needed items, such as medicine, school supplies, and clothing to the community. No moment will go by where we don’t receive God’s mercy from the loving people of Guatemala!
