Embracing Creation: A Celebration of the Legacy of Pope Benedict XVI

A free event Thursday, April 25, on the campus of Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.

Join us for an evening colloquium as we reflect on the enduring significance of Pope Benedict XVI’s epochal contributions to Catholic thought and culture. The event will feature short lectures by three experts involved with the newly released Cambridge Companion to Joseph Ratzinger, followed by dinner and a panel discussion with Q&A. Sponsored by the Center for Integral Ecology, our panel will spotlight the late pontiff’s vision of Scripture and Creation as God’s “two books,” each of whose pages overflow with immeasurable richness. We cordially invite you to be a part of this celebration and to contribute to the dialogue as we delve into Benedict’s work and explore how it can help us to better inhabit the created world and transform culture today.
