Application Process Gregorian Fellows Leadership Program

Each year, the Gregorian Fellows Leadership Program provides 25 exceptionally motivated students with unique educational and leadership opportunities intended to advance the Catholic culture on campus, in America, and in the world.

Eligibility Requirements

The Gregorian Fellows invite the following groups of admitted students to apply:

  1. STANDARD: Students who demonstrate a minimum high school GPA of a 3.2 and minimum 27 ACT, 1260 SAT, or 87 CLT.
  2. TEST-OPTIONAL: Test-optional applicants who submit a high school transcript showing a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  3. SLIDING SCALE: Students whose individual combination of GPA and test score merits eligibility consideration based on a sliding scale.
  4. Students who do not meet the academic requirements may be considered for acceptance on the strength of an extensive leadership resume.

Application Process

In addition to your resume (see sample resume), please prepare and submit (using the form below) a video response* to each of the following questions (1 minute max per question):

  1. What is the best leadership advice someone gave you to improve your own leadership abilities?
  2. What role do you typically play on any team? For example:
    • “I’m typically the one that comes up with the ideas”
    • “I am the one who makes sure the task gets completed”
    • “I am the one who typically recruits the other volunteers”
  3. If you were to choose a leader from a film or book who you would want to emulate as a leader who would it be and why?

* please prepare one video that includes all three questions.

Admission and Financial Award

Consideration is given to students who submit applications by December 15. Applicants will be notified about the selection results after January 15.

Gregorian Fellows will receive a one-time $2,000 financial award available after freshman year.
