From the Director:

Thank you for your interest in the Department of Nursing at Benedictine College.  The nursing faculty and I encourage you to explore the unique opportunity to study nursing at the Mother Teresa Center for Nursing and Health Education.  Here at Benedictine College, and in the Department of Nursing, we are dedicated to incorporating Catholic teachings and values into  your nursing education.

The Mother Teresa Center houses a state-of-the-art nursing education facility complete with high-tech simulation laboratories and classrooms.  Our nursing curriculum is academically rigorous, and prepares nurses to serve successfully in today’s complex and diverse healthcare system.  Our graduates have a unique preparation in the consideration and care of the whole person:  body, mind, and spirit.  Many of our current students and graduates have been inspired to participate in missions and service opportunities.  Our graduates serve as nurses in a broad variety of healthcare settings – bringing compassion, light, and skill to their patients, and to the healthcare settings in which they practice.
