Alumnus Profile - Jerome Roehm

Jerome Roehm

Jerome Roehm graduated summa cum laude from Benedictine College in 2016 with dual degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Education. While most students would find the lifestyle of a student athlete difficult enough, Roehm excelled as a two-sport student athlete with a double-major, captaining the football team in the fall and hitting it out of the park with the baseball team in the spring. Despite his rigorous schedule, he also graduated as valedictorian of the class of 2016, becoming the first football player in school history to do so.

Jerome has been teaching mathematics and coaching basketball at Riverbend International School here in Atchison while continuing his education at the graduate level. He plans to keep developing his knowledge and skills in order to educate future math students to the best of his ability, aiming to eventually earn his Ph.D.
