Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Associate Professor Larry Sutton and his wife, Sophia, have had a peer-reviewed manuscript accepted for publication in Biochemical Journal. Dr. Sutton and his collaborator, Michael Crowder, Chairman of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Miami University, were co-principal investigators on the project. The pre-print of the manuscript, entitled “Targeting metallo-carbapenemases via modulation of electronic properties of cephalosporins,” can be viewed online at http://www.biochemj.org/bj/imps/abs/BJ20140364.htm.
