Larry Wilcox Stadium

The crowning jewel of the Raven football program is O’Malley Field at Larry Wilcox Stadium. FieldTurf™ was originally installed for the 2008 season and was upgraded to a new version of the product for the 2019 season. The field was renamed O’Malley Field during the 2012 season in recognition of the years of support by the O’Malley family to Raven football and Benedictine College.

Larry Wilcox Stadium has become known as one of the best home-field advantages in small-college football.

New chair-back seats were installed in spring 2018 as the Athletic Department continues to upgrade the fan experience. The stadium not only offers Raven fans a great view of the game from every seat, but it also delivers a breathtaking view of St. Benedict’s Abbey, located on the southeast side of the field.

The stadium was built with fans in mind. The seats face toward the east, which means the fall sun will be either directly above the seats or behind the stadium during games so fans never miss a down of Raven football.

Over the course of the last few years, the Amino Center complex has gone through some major renovations.

In 2004, two meeting rooms were added to give the Ravens large meeting spaces. The facility houses the coaches’ offices, the Ravens football locker room, and an outstanding weight room.

In 2007, a renovation gave each coach a personal office space and created a more welcoming environment for recruits and visitors.

The hallway has become a Hall of Honor for the program with a large display case and pictures of the Ravens Heart Defensive and Offensive Players of the Year. Various pictures of the history of the program, including a picture of former Raven and NAIA Hall of Famer, Jamie Mueller from his time with the Buffalo Bills are located in the hallway and along the outside walls of the meeting rooms.

Overall, upgrades over the past several years have allowed the program to showcase the best aspects of Benedictine College football.

The Raven weight room features state-of-the-art Hammer free-weight equipment. This equipment allows the Raven staff to fully optimize their ground-based, close kinetic chain philosophy of strength and conditioning. The weight room also includes a complete double set of dumbbells ranging up to 140 pounds; the dumbbells are used extensively in unilateral, stability, and core-strengthening exercises.

Raven athletes are able to use the weight facility at their convenience. It consists of two large rooms that can be accessed from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Laughlin Track

Laughlin Track is home to the Raven Men's and Women's Track & Field program. The eight-lane track surrounds O'Malley Field. A shot put pit along with long jump, triple jump and pole vault lanes is located

to the south of the track. The discus ring is located on the northwest corner of the practice football field, which is located above Larry Wilcox Stadium on the west side of the track.
