Jack A. Newman, Jr., currently provides facilitation and advisory services to companies in all sectors, with a particular emphasis on organizations affiliated with the health care industry.   The company he established in July 2008 through which he operates is Jack Newman Advisory Services.

From January 1996 through June 2008 Jack was Executive Vice President for Cerner Corporation, a NASDAQ listed health care information systems and knowledge services company.  In his role as Executive Vice President, among other responsibilities, he served as the primary senior executive charged with establishing and overseeing relationships with Cerner’s largest domestic clients. 

Prior to joining Cerner, Jack spent 22 years with KPMG, 14 as Partner, the last four of which he was National Partner in Charge of the Firm’s Health Care Strategy Practice.  In that capacity he oversaw the firm’s services nationwide in delivering financial analysis, strategy development and merger/acquisition services to health care providers.

Jack has a Bachelor of Arts degree that he obtained magna cum laude from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.  He also holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and he is a CPA.

He currently serves or recently has served as a Board Member for the following organizations: Benedictine College (Board Chair) -- Atchison, Kansas; Enterprise Bank and Trust (Kansas City Regional Board Chair) -- St. Louis, Missouri [NASDAQ listed]; EPR Properties -- Kansas City, Missouri [NYSE listed]; Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City -- Kansas City, Missouri; University of Kansas Health System -- Kansas City, Kansas; Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas (Past Board Chair) -- Overland Park, Kansas.
