College Ministry – Teams

To get involved with one of our ministry teams, just fill out the College Ministry Interest Form.

Chapel Team

Chapel Team assists with liturgy on campus. We are always looking for great ushers, lectors, EMHC’s, and servers to help out at Mass! You can also get involved by committing to a weekly Adoration time.

Music Team

Our mission is to further the work of the Church on earth through beautiful music, which enables us to more easily lift our hearts and minds to the eternal realm. As ministers of music, we focus on the musical aspect of service in the Mass.

Retreat Team

We lead retreats in parishes in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska.  We focus on confirmation retreats, but provide other retreats as well.  We need volunteers to show Christ to the youth in surrounding dioceses.

Hospitality Team

For Benedictines and Catholics, hospitality is a part of evangelization. It is a response to Christ’s call to welcome the stranger and feed the hungry. We are involved in liturgical hospitality (donuts after Mass), hosting speakers, running receptions for events on campus, organizing the vocations fair, and more.

Underground Team

We put on monthly events that provide a unique worship experience to college and high school students.

BCYC Team

Each Summer Benedictine College Ministry hosts BCYC, the Benedictine College Youth Conferences.

Stewardship Team

Our team is responsible for assisting in fundraising, as well as financial and other administrative work for BC ministry. If you are interested in organizing and encouraging others to steward time, talent, and treasure for Christ.

Mission Trips Team

Responding to Christ’s call to make disciples of all nations, we travel domestically and internationally on several mission trips over Spring Break each year.

Service Team

Christ calls us to imitate Him through prayer and service to others. Service Team gives students an opportunity to share their talents with people and organizations in the surrounding communities. We work with Habitat for Humanity, nursing homes, soup kitchens, and many other groups.

Acts Team

The Acts Team exists to create encounters on campus for our college students to meet the Lord in a new and radical way. We do this through Healing Masses, class retreats, and outreach events.

RCIA Team

Walk alongside students discerning entrance to the Church or join as a Prayer Warrior and pray daily for a specific person in RCIA.
