Benedictine College Move-In Day 2014

Monday, August 25, 2014

Benedictine College welcomed more than 600 new students to the college campus on Saturday, August 23. The new freshmen and transfer students were greeted by Benedictine College President Stephen D. Minnis at the main entrance, along with a host of Student Ambassadors, staff, faculty and monks from St. Benedict's Abbey. The incoming class may be the largest in school history and will help propel the total undergraduate population to record levels above 1,800 students. Classes begin on August 27 and the annual Opening All School Mass and Academic Convocation are set for September 2. This year, noted business guru Patrick Lencioni, author of ten best-selling business books, will be the Convocation Keynote speaker. His popular book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, continues to be a fixture on national best-seller lists and recently celebrated its 11th year running on the Wall Street Journal list. His much-anticipated new book, The Advantage: Why Organizational Health Trumps Everything Else in Business, was released in 2012 and became an instant best-seller.
