Annual Benedictine Spring Football Game set for April 27

Benedictine College head football coach Larry Wilcox has announced the date for his program’s annual Spring Game.  The Ravens will hold their event at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, on O’Malley Field at Larry Wilcox Stadium.

Benedictine is coming off a HAAC Championship and 10-2 overall record that saw the program qualify for the NAIA Football Championship Series for the second time in the past three seasons.

The Ravens went 8-1 in 2013 and finished in a tie with Baker University and Missouri Valley College for the HAAC title adding their sixth conference banner to the program’s storied history.

The event is free to the public, so don’t miss your chance to catch a glimpse of the 2014 Ravens as they wrap up their spring practice season in preparation for a run a the 2014 HAAC Championship.

The Spring Game will also be available over the internet on BRSNtv with former Raven Tim Spoerl returning to campus to serve as the play by play analyst for this year’s game.
