Admission Counselor
Position Summary
The primary role of an Admission Counselor is to help facilitate the successful enrollment of students to the undergraduate program. This is accomplished by monitoring all aspects of the enrollment process for students from assigned geographic regions. This includes the campus visit, the application for undergraduate admission, financial aid early estimates and Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and registration. To accomplish this goal, we provide accurate and timely information for the student and their family to make an educated decision to attend Benedictine College.
Essential Functions
- Schedule and conduct high school visits at targeted high schools
- Attend local, regional and national college fairs
- Follow up with students regarding application status, upcoming events, financial aid, housing, testing and registering.
- Support campus visit program
- Individual meetings with all campus guests from assigned territory
- Maintain phone and electronic communication with all applicants
- Support large campus visit programs including Presidential Scholarship weekend, Raven days, Open House, and Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration
