Looking Toward Our 2025 Season

We had a successful 2024 season and are looking to build off it. Here are some of the highlights from our 2024 season:

  • We finished with a record of 11-3 and ranked #3 in the final ACFA Coach’s Poll.
  • We won the Heart South Conference Championship for the third consecutive year.
  • We received a Bye in the 1st Round of the Playoffs.
  • We won our 2nd Round Playoff game at Texas Wesleyan 42-33.
  • We won our 3rd Round Playoff game at Indiana Wesleyan 20-9.
  • Finished our season in the National Semifinals against Keiser (42-38 loss).
  • Defeated Baker 27-24 on Family Weekend in front of over 3,000 fans.
  • Defeated Morningside on the road to start the season 48-45.
  • Joel Osborn was named Heart South Coach of the Year.
  • Jacob Gathright (WR) was named Heart South Player of the Year.
  • Jackson Dooley (QB) was named Heart South Offensive Player of the Year.
  • Jacob Gathright (WR), Isaac Anderson (DL), and Jashawn Todd (ATH) were named NAIA & AFCA All-Americans. This is the third year in a row that Jacob Gathright was named All- American and the second time in three years that JaShawn Todd was named All-American. Jackson Dooley (QB), and Tanner Zimmerman (TE) were also named NAIA All-Americans.
  • Javhi Blomquist (DB), Harry Balke (K), Heath Baker (DL), Zach Lacombe (LB), and Rashad Beckham (OL) were named Victory Sports Network (VSN) All-Americans as well.
  • Jacob Gathright broke the single season record for receiving yards with 1,343 yards. He also broke the career record for receiving yards with 3,780 yards.
  • Jackson Dooley broke the single season record for passing yards and passing touchdowns with 4,153 yards and 39 touchdowns.
  • 21 Players earned 23 All-Conference accolades with 16 of those earning 1st Team honors.
  • We excelled in the classroom this fall, with a program-record 18 players named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
  • We signed an excellent recruiting class.
  • We did multiple community service projects in Atchison and Benedictine.
  • We graduated an excellent group of young men in May.
  • We had great attendance at our camps again.

I want to invite you to come back for all our home games this season. Our first one is August 30 vs. Morningside at 1:00 p.m. We must be ready to go each week as the challenge in front of us is mighty. Based on what I am seeing, our team will be ready for it. All our home games and most away games are live streamed on RavenAthletics.com.

We are looking forward to having everyone come out to support us this fall.
