Benedictine Campus for Catholic Education

"More than any other program of education sponsored by the Church, the Catholic school has the opportunity and obligation to be unique, contemporary, and oriented to Christian service..."

(To Teach as Jesus Did, #106)

Benedictine College’s graduate education programs offered in the Kansas City metro area are designed to serve teachers in the two area Catholic dioceses.  These programs have been built to develop highly effective and dedicated Catholic school educators and leaders, while delivering the same accredited program that leads to licensure as our Atchison cohort.  This cohort emphasizes leading and supporting schools that are joyfully Catholic, academically strong, and prudently managed through best practices for the specialized needs of Catholic schools.

Currently, 30 graduates of our programs are serving as school administrators in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas and the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, including an associate superintendent and high school president.  Many other graduates are functioning as teacher leaders.  There is a strong network of Benedictine Catholic school teachers and administrators waiting for you!

Catholic Cohort Highlights

  • Reduced tuition rate for Catholic school teachers
  • Leads to initial licensure as a building principal in Kansas and Missouri
  • Catholic school cohort in Roeland Park, easily accessible to teachers in both dioceses
  • Excellent professors with P-12 Catholic school experience
  • Financial Aid is available to those who qualify
