Completely renovated in fall 2011, the Benedictine Lofts are located in downtown Atchison, less than a mile from campus. Formerly an historic leather factory, the Benedictine Lofts offer true loft style apartment living, with an open floor plan, brick walls, exposed duct work, high ceilings and stained concrete floors. Many apartments offer a view of downtown Atchison, and/or the Missouri River. Each apartment is fully furnished with a full kitchen and private bath. The Lofts are an upperclassmen housing option for 64 men.
Gregory Waddle is originally from Palmyra, Nebraska. Gregory graduated from Benedictine College in 2013 with a degree in, Business Administration with in emphases in Marketing and Management, as well as a minor in Theology. While a student at Benedictine he served as a resident assistant his sophomore and junior years in Cray. His Wife Rachelle is a 2012 graduate of Benedictine College. Gregory is excited to be back at Benedictine and ready for a great semester!
Each apartment has a full kitchen, including a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator.
Each apartment has its own bathroom. There are one or two sinks depending on the apartment and a bathtub/shower combination.
In lounge: sofa, armchair, coffee table, and a dining table with four chairs.In each bedroom: two beds, two desks, two desk chairs, two closets or one walk-in closet, one dresser.
Handicap rooms are available.
There is a laundry room on each floor of the Lofts with washers and dryers available 24hrs.
No lofts are allowed.
The main lounge is located on the second floor of the Lofts.
There are two person and four person apartments available. Each bedroom is double occupancy with varying dimensions.
The exterior doors are locked 24hrs. a day. Residents of the Lofts are issued a key card which allows them access to the main entrance of the building.
