Benedictine College head wrestling coach Cy Wainwright continues to add to his inaugural recruiting class, announcing three more signings for the 2012-13 wresting season.

Ben Rynda from Montgomery, Minn., Darien Willis from Sumner Academy in Kansas City, Kan., and Gabe Suthoff from Clinton, Mo., have all signed to join the Ravens for their first-ever intercollegiate wrestling season next year.

Rynda wrestled for Pat Murphy at Trinity School at River Ridge.  He was a 3 time state qualifier and two-time placer capping off his Senior season as State Runner up.

"I look forward to coaching Ben," said Coach Wainwright said. "He is a kid that sleeps, eats, and breathe wrestling."

Willis is a projected 165 pounder for the Ravens and has won numerous high school and freestyle Roman Greco national events. He was a member of the Kansas National Wrestling team and competed at the national championships for USA Wrestling.

"Darien is the type of person and wrestler that we want on campus at Benedictine," Coach Wainwright said. "Darien has accomplished a lot during his career and we look forward to having him as a member of the Benedictine community."

Suthoff is a two time state placer and a state runner up for Clinton High School.

“Gabe is an all-around great kid," said Coach Wainwright. "He shows some of the best sportsmanship I have ever seen. He is a well-rounded individual and I look forward to working with him.”

Gabe is a projected 174 for the Ravens.
