Women's Basketball Announces Second Signing for 2012-13

Piper HS standout Whitney Morrow set to join the Raven women next season

Benedictine College women's basketball coach Chad Folsom has announced Piper High School standout Whitney Morrow as the newest member of the Raven women's basketball program.

Morrow signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Benedictine College earlier this winter. The 5’11 senior forward from Kansas City, Kan., led her team in scoring and rebounding averaging 11 points and 10 rebounds per game this past season. Morrow earned KAW Valley All-League Honors and Kansas Class 4A Honorable Mention All-State honors.

She is a very good athlete who also stars on the Piper High School track team.  She is a member of the 4 x 100 meter relay team that has won the state championship the past 3 years. Whitney is a member of the National Honor Society and was named the NAIA Champions of Character award recipient for all of Piper High School this year.
