Lady Ravens Win Second Straight

After several games of below standard shooting, the Lady Ravens won their second straight game Saturday against Central Methodist in large part to their 50.7 percent shooting.

BC defeated CMU, 99-66, narrowly missing the century mark for the second time this season.

BC forced CMU into 24 turnovers during the game which also helped the Lady Ravens offense.

By halftime, the Lady Ravens built a 49-35 lead.

Four Lady Ravens reached double digits in scoring, led once against by junior forward Emily Smith. Smith scored 25 points in just 24 minutes of action, missing just two field goals during that time.

Courtney Edmonds added 18 points while Jill Heiman added 16 points off the Lady Ravens bench. Angela Kmetz added 10 ooints to round out BC's top scorers.

The Lady Ravens return to action Thursday at 5:30 p.m. when they host Lindenwood University in Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.
