Softball places five on All-HAAC list
Ashley Dobbie and Megan Eldredge lead the way on first team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Five members of the Raven softball team earned a spot on the 2013 All-HAAC softball team when it was released following the annual coaches' meeting on Thursday.
Third baseman Ashley Dobbie (Sr., Overland Park) and shortstop Megan Eldredge (Soph., Arvada, Colo.) were named to the first team. Katie Rickleffs (Fr., Topeka) was named to the second team at first base. Pitcher Mallory Goulding (Fr., Plainfield, Ill.) and left fielder Allison McCormick (Jr., Pittsburg) were named honorable mention.
Dobbie led the Ravens in RBIs through the end of the regular season and was second in batting average with a .321 average. Defensively, Dobbie had a .942 fielding percentage this season. She recorded 42 putouts, 88 assists and eight errors in 138 attempts at third base. For her efforts on defense, Dobbie was named the HAAC's Rawlings Gold Glove winner at third base.
Eldredge led the Ravens with a .374 batting average and 52 hits. She finished the regular season with 14 doubles, three triples and three home runs while driving in 28.
Rickleffs was the Ravens second-leading hitter with a .327 batting average and led the team with five home runs while picking up a triple and five doubles. She also went 3-0 over 20.1 innings pitched in 12 appearances for the Ravens as a pitcher.
Goulding led the Ravens in wins with a 9-7 record this season over 104.2 innings. She appeared in 22 games, earning 16 starts while throwing six complete games.
McCormick finished with a .292 batting average while driving in 25 runs off 35 hits while scoring 16 runs. Defensively she she recorded 51 putouts and 8 assists in 66 chances in left field.
