The 2013 Raven men's soccer season gets underway on Aug. 15 when the program and head coach Rob Herringer take on William Woods University at 5 p.m. at the BC Soccer Complex in a pre-season scrimmage.

After two additional scrimmage, the Ravens will start their home slate of matches at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 as they take on Doane College.

In all, the Ravens will battle through a full schedule of 16 games in 2013. They will play eight of those matches at home in front of their home faithful at the BC Soccer Complex.

On Sept. 21, both the Raven men's and women's soccer programs will celebrate the second annual Raven Soccer Alumni Weekend. In addition to officially welcoming back the many generations of Ravens to wear the Raven kit, the John Casey Soccer Center will be officially dedicated during a ceremony prior to the Raven men taking on John Brown University.

The Ravens will open defense of their Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) double championship on the road when they travel to Fayette, Mo., on Sept. 28 to take on Central Methodist University.

Other HAAC highlighted games include a Family Weekend match up on Oct. 5 against Missouri Valley College and a double celebration on Oct. 19 as the Ravens welcome Culver-Stockton College.

Oct. 19 not only marks the 2013 Homecoming Weekend with the Ravens and the Wildcats playing the featured sporting event of the weekend, the Senior Class will also be recognized after the match for their contributions to the Raven program over their time at Benedictine.

The Homecoming match starts a three-game home stand to wind up the season as the Ravens take on Graceland University and MNU over the the final days of the conference regular season.

While the official Benedictine Raven Sports Network (BRSN) schedule is not officially set yet for the 2013 fall season, with the addition of the press box as part of the Casey Soccer Center, more BRSNtv broadcasts will be available throughout the season as the Ravens look to repeat as HAAC Champions!
