Stellar Line-Up Set for Sesquicentennial Speaker Series

From Father Edward J. Flanagan, who spoke on campus in 1939 following the tremendous success of the biographic movie "Boys Town," to notable personalities like Bob Hope, Erma Bombeck, Lou Holtz, Bill McGurn, and Wangari Maathai, Benedictine College has a tradition of bringing high-profile speakers to northeast Kansas. Our sesquicentennial year is no different.  Following up on the opening convocation presentation from Thomas Hoenig, Benedictine alumnus and president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, there is an impressive list of speakers slated for the Sesquicentennial Speaker Series.  All the speeches in the series are free and open to the public, are set to begin at 11 a.m., and are in the O’Malley-McAllister Auditorium on the college campus.
