How do I apply for Scholarships?

You must complete the online application and submit all required academic documents listed. The Director of International Admission will review your application and academic documents. If you are admissible to Benedictine College, then you will receive an acceptance letter showing your scholarship.

 

Are there any other Financial Aid options?

If you would like to play on a varsity sport at Benedictine College, you can complete the online Athletic questionnaire. You may also audition for a Music Scholarship once you have arrived on campus. Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply for loans and grants from the U.S. government. We suggest you visit the Ministry of Education website of you country. Some countries offer financial aid to their citizens studying overseas.

Do you have English Classes for International Students?

Yes, we have an English as a Second Language Program (ESL) for International students. Depending on the level of English, students can also take approved undergraduate courses at the same time as ESL courses. Here are examples of class schedules

How do I receive an I-20 from Benedictine College?

Once you have been admitted, you must submit bank statements showing you will have financial support for one year of academic studies at Benedictine College. You must also submit the Housing Application and Enrollment Fee of $250 online. The Director of International Admission will mail the enrollment packet with the I-20.

 

Do I need a new I-20 if I will transfer from another U.S. university?

Your SEVIS record will be transferred to Benedictine College. Please email Anne Faucett to request a SEVIS transfer form.

 

How do I register for Classes?

Your academic advisor will be in contact with you for class registration. He/she will email your Benedictine College email account which is given to you in the enrollment packet.

 

How do I know where I am living on campus?

The student life office will notify all new students of their living arrangements on campus. Check your Benedictine College email account for housing assignments and roommate information.

 

Will someone pick me up at the airport?

Yes, you need to email your flight itinerary to Anne Faucett. Please arrive at the Kansas City International Airport (MCI).

 

Can I ship bedding and other personal belongings to campus prior to my arrival?
