STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
Benedictine College actively participates in the federal self-help program referred to as "Federal Work-Study" (FWS). As part of the financial aid package, Work-Study allows a student to contribute to his or her education by enhancing skills already acquired and by providing the chance to learn new skills while employed on campus or in a community service role.
AWARDING PROCEDURES & ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY

- A student must be enrolled and attending at least part-time for a regular semester or session. If a student should withdraw from all classes, he/she is no longer eligible for student employment.

COLLEGE WORK PROGRAM
Benedictine College has another student employment program for students who are not eligible for Federal Work-Study. Under the College Work Program students are hired in much the same way that they would gain off-campus employment--that is, with regard to departmental budgets and needs. If you are not eligible for a federal work-study position, your application will be designated for college work program. Due to budgetary constraints work program funding is limited.
