Baseball Announces Tryouts for 2011 High School Graduates

Benedictine baseball head coach Doc Beeman announced today four open tryout dates for all 2011 HS graduates interested in playing baseball at Benedictine. The dates and times are as follows:

• Saturday, August 28 – 10:00 AM at the Ballpark
• Monday, September 6 – 3:00 PM (Raven Day)
• Sunday, October 3 – 12:00 PM at the Ballpark
• Friday, October 15 – 3:00 PM (Raven Day)

All tryouts will be a workout followed by a brief Q&A with the Raven coaching staff. If you are planning on attending the Raven Day dates, be sure to let the admissions staff know so they can get you to the field on time.

 All interested players should be prepared to run, hit, field and throw in a workout format. Spikes and baseball attire is highly recommended. The length of the workouts will vary based on number of participants, but shouldn’t be more than two hours. There is no need to sign up in advance for the tryout, someone from the staff will be at the field 30 minutes prior to the start to get your information.
