Katelyn Nill
2011: Nill had a quality freshman season. At the plate, she hit .284 with three doubles and 9 total RBI. In the pitcher’s circle, she led the staff with 23 appearances, finishing with a 5-7 record and recorded three saves.
Before Benedictine: Nill was a standout at St. Thomas Aquinas both on and off the field. In 2010, she earned Kansas All-State Second Team, All-Conference First Team, All-Sun First Team, and Kansas City Star All-Metro Second Team honors, making the MO-KAN All-Star team. In the classroom she was an EKL Scholar Athlete and was a member of the National Honors Society. From 2008-2010 she was a NFCA Academic All-American Scholar Athlete. Her team won the Kansas 5A State Championship in 2008.
