Tuition Timeline

We have developed a timeline to map out the financial aid process.  We want to make sure that you do not miss anything.  Even if you do not think you will be eligible for assistance, we encourage all Benedictine students to apply.

  • June-November: Submit application for admission, three-year transcripts, and ACT/SAT scores
  • September: Academic scholarship notification begins for non-athletes. Athletic award notifications provided by coaches.
  • October: A FAFSA postcard will be sent to all applicants of Benedictine College.  Start compiling all tax and income information needed to complete the FAFSA. Complete FAFSA online or turn in the paper FAFSA to Benedictine College's Office of Financial Aid.  Benedictine College’s school code is 010256.  The priority deadline for the FAFSA is March 15th.
  • December: Begin researching private/outside scholarships.  Check with your high school guidance counselor, with local agencies, and online.
  • December-April: Review Student Aid Report (SAR).  If selected for verification, return all required documents requested by the Office of Financial Aid.  Award letters are generated and mailed. The award package will detail everything that you are eligible for.
  • December-May: Review your award package.  Accept or decline awards listed on the award letter.  You will complete this process electronically through your RavenZone account.
  • May-July: Complete Stafford loan Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling online.  Send four-year high school transcripts.
  • July: Student charges are applied to student accounts. If needed, PLUS loan and Alternative loans should be applied for.  Confirm private scholarships are designated to Benedictine College.  Send letters of scholarship notification to the Office of Financial Aid.
  • August: Student accounts are due August 1.  Have financial aid secure or pay bill by using the payment plan or a cash payment.  Students arrive on campus.
