Stephen E. McBride, '77
Stephen McBride retired in 2014 as the Senior Vice President and General Auditor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Previously Mr. McBride served as the senior vice president over the Kansas City Reserve Bank’s human resources, accounting, financial management, facilities management and protection functions as well as the Federal Reserve System’s human resources technology center. Steve began his career with the Federal Reserve Bank in 1978 as a bank examiner. Steve is a 1977 graduate of Benedictine College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska, in 1978 with a Master of Arts degree in Finance.
He is active member of Prince of Peace parish serving as Treasurer of the Knights of Columbus chapter. Steve was married to his wife Peggy in 1979 and they have two children who are graduates of Benedictine College. Also his father, an aunt, five brothers and sisters, four brother and sister-in-laws, two nephews and a niece are Benedictine College alumni.
